A 2018 updated rencering of 250 M Street, as seen from 2nd and M, with the completed Harlow residential building at left rear, and 300 M to the right.
The left/west side of the building faces Canal Park.

Aug. 21, 2003 - What the same location looked like in the earliest days of JDLand photography, in August 2003.
Feb. 22, 2004 - The remains of the gas station were demolished in fall 2003, exposing a view of the by-then-boarded-up Capper public housing units on the rear of the block. Those were demolished in early 2005.
Aug. 5, 2017 - The corner remained unchanging--save for a surface parking lot--for 12 years, until the construction of the Harlow mixed-income apartment building on the north end of the block got underway in 2017. Click to see all available photos of this location.

November 4, 2019 - The same location, with the Harlow mixed-income apartment building now occupying the north half of the block . The Capper buildings on this block were demolished in January, 2005, and the USDOT HQ has risen at the end of 2nd Street, across M Street. Click to see all available photos of this location.
