On Saturday Aug. 13 the National Building Museum opens
Investigating Where We Live, displaying the results of their five-week summer outreach program that teaches young people how to use photography as a way to explore, document, and "interpret the built environment." The exhibit, designed by the participants, showcases photographs, poems, stories, and narratives from the 15 youngsters who explored Anacostia, the New York Avenue Corridor, and
Near Southeast. The exhibit runs through Oct. 10.
