The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years of age, wearing a light blue shirt and blue jeans. The suspect was last seen on fleeing on 3rd Place SE." Something about that armed robbery story seems fishy to me. Particularly the "no property was obtained" part. Obviously there may be additional details left out, but I'm curious as to how the victim escaped with all their property after being confronted with a gun. On a related crime note, some teens ran out of Harry's on Friday night with a several bottles of premium merch. Didn't look to be an armed situation, but there was a confrontation on the sidewalk.

Wow, their webpage says that because of the one narrow pedestrian bridge in the middle of the Navy Yard you can't ride your bike anywhere else? That is silly. You should be able to bike up to bridge, dismount, walk it across, and get back on again. That is some amazingly myopic regulatory thinking there.
