An overhead rendering of what the current DC Water site could become when the many necessary steps are completed to hand over four acres of the DC Water site to Forest City for redevelopment that would include over 600 residential units and retail, including a movie theater. Diamond Teague Park would also see its footprint expanded to the north, and Potomac Avenue would be extended eastward from 1st Street. Note that both DC Water pumping stations would remain--the O Street building is envisioned at front right, with new construction on top, but doesn't reflect the actual design unveiled in 2015.
