An overhead view of New Jersey Avenue in September 2004, looking northwest, showing the orientation of Capitol Hill Tower to Capitol Hill and the SE Freeway. The Capitol Hill Tower construction site is at bottom right. (09/04)
The northwest/New Jersey and K entrance, which is the main entrance to the residential portion of the project; it was completed in July 2006, 2 1/2 years after construction began. (09/06)

The same southeast corner of New Jersey and K, in September 2003. The buildings seen above were demolished some time around 2001. (09/03)
The same location, in May 2007, one year after opening. (05/07)
Looking at the Tower's lot from one block north (2nd and I), as clearing of the lot was finished in July, 2004. The overgrown brush to the left will eventually be cleared to make way for the Washington Canal Park. (07/04)

In February 2013, boxing and fitness company DCBFit opened in the far southern retail space in Capitol Hill Tower's ground floor, near L Street. Also in the retail spaces are Congressional Cleaners, which opened in 2007, and a Georgetown University medical clinic, which opened in 2011. (2/10/13)
