Word is out that Solidcore* will be opening for your high-intensity low-impact workout pleasure at 8 am on Saturday, Nov. 4, in the ground floor of F1rst.
The official web site for this location allows reservations for upcoming classes, and also has some grand opening deals available ($4 for your first class, plus 10-pack and 1-year membership specials).
Regrettably, I did not get a chance to swing by for an updated photo before posting this, so here's my most recent shot of the Solidcore location, located next to soon-to-be-Rasa on 1st Street SE between M and N. (Official street address is 1245 1st St. SE.)
* As for why I am not referring to it as [solidcore], it's because it would have been a divorce-level offense in my house.

Dude-- I agree with you. One of the best workouts in the neighborhood is running the stairs at Nats Park, across the street from Dock 79. You get fresh air and it is FREE!!!! Also with spinning, you can purchase a trainer for $75 - $100 (the cost of maybe three SoulCycle classes) and have a great workout in your own apartment.

SoulCycle doesn't seem far off the mark for One Hill South; the developer also owns Equinox, which owns SoulCycle (and, incidentally, the operator of Capital Bikeshare)

GoNavy, I think you'll be fine getting home. From what I understand, Solidcore is pretty low-intensity, so while your legs must feel a little rubbery immediately afterwards, moving around shouldn't be a problem. I recommend a solid stretch and a foam rolling session after you get home though because the soreness will definitely set in afterwards, in which case the Uber might be required to get to work the next day! Enjoy!

First Street has really come a long way. Barely a handful of bays still have temporary fronts or no signs of construction. Everything else looks open for business, or soon to be.
