It was announced on Thursday that fall 2017 is expected to see the opening at Arris of Chloe, a multi-genre restaurant from Chef Haidar Karoum, late of Estadio, Doi Moi, and Proof.
The press release says that "Chloe will be a showcase of Karoum's personal culinary journey, including his Lebanese roots and extensive travel around Western Europe and Southeast Asia, all grounded in and linked by the seasonal bounties of the mid-Atlantic."
It will have 103 seats inside, with counter seating for 14 at an open kitchen and another 27 spots in the bar, plus 32 outdoor seats for warm months (like February?).
Washingtonian has much more about the venture, including a couple of renderings of the interior, one of which seems to hint that the restaurant will be located in the corner space at 4th and Tingey, but I am trying to confirm the exact location for sure.
Chloe will join Arris's other existing and coming-soon retail tenants Philz Coffee, Conte's Bike Shop, the Juice Laundry, and the Cosmpolitan Nail Lounge. And it also joins the ever-increasing list of eateries across the neighborhood slated to open in 2017.

I'm guessing this is going into the old Steadfast Supply space? 32 outdoor seats seems about what would fit on Tingey. I can't imagine that many outdoor seats fitting on the Water St side.

Insignia also has a ton of retail space that hasn't been announced yet. Only thing confirmed there is Bethesda Bagels, and they're in what looks like a tiny retail bay. I wonder what'll snag that prime corner spot right next to the metro entrance...

I have heard of one non-food tenant coming to One Hill South, though not sure I can spill the beans.

And a year ago I had heard a rumor of an Italian restaurant for Insignia, but not sure if that's happening.

Update in re the bad smell at the nj & I intersection: a DC water truck has several manholes open in front of park Chelsea and is doing something or other with some kind of roto-rooter looking thing.

Maybe it's just me, but for how big the stadium is it seems to be dwarfed by 1221 Van. I assume it's no higher than any other buildings in the area, but from Half street Metro entrance it seems to tower over everything.

@jdc-- yes, looking south from So. Capitol Street, 1221 Van appears to be huge. Perhaps it is because there is nothing in the immediate area now.

I have heard some rumors that Dean and Deluca will be coming to Insignia on M. I googled what is the square footage of Dean and Deluca and I found out that it ranges from 3000 to over 20K square feet.

I also heard a fancy Mcdonald is coming to One Hill South on I street (something that looks like the Mcdonald at Galleria Vittoria Emanuele in Milan).

I live at Dock79, it's actually relatively quiet down in these parts, minus the helicopters every now and then. Bardo is on the other side of a parking lot and volleyball courts, there is no noise that carries up to the units thus far. In addition, I read that live bands are supposedly prohibited at the location.
