Tim Lemke of the WashTimes,
writes on his Sports Biz blog about how the organizers of the college bowl game (now called the Washington DC Bowl, not the Congressional Bowl) were eyeing
Nationals Park from the beginning, with the support of the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission, but: "In essence, it came down to whether the Nationals were willing to hold the bowl game inside the stadium, and my sources tell me that the team simply didn't want the game there, or at the very least was not particularly receptive to the idea." So tomorrow there's a press conference where they'll announce all the particulars. And, since it won't be at the baseball stadium, I get to stop paying attention. (Yay!)
