Wrapping It Up

What you've seen here was packed into about 24 hours. By Monday, most everyone had gone home. The bride and groom hung around until Friday, going to shows, eating like pigs, and having a doctor come visit the suite to tend to the bride when her back officially broke on Monday morning. (We won't bore you with the details, except to say it was the result of a chronic ruptured disk, and after substantial amounts of medication, she was back on her feet for the rest of the trip. And she's much better now, thanks.) All of the details on these other events are contained in Bill's trip report, a must-read!
So, how do we feel about having thrown a wedding 3,000 miles from home, in a Las Vegas hotel and casino? It was, quite simply, more than we ever dreamed it would be, and we are still shaking our heads that it all went as smoothly as it did. We think the guests had a good time; I know we did. And I guess we're married now. That's kind of cool, too.
Same time, next year?
