The Rehearsal Dinner
<<< The Brew Pub Bridesmaids Lunch >>>

Because we just hadn't eaten and drank enough at the Brew Pub, the members of the wedding party then headed across the street from the Monte Carlo to Smith & Wollensky for a light dinner of massive cuts of steak and pork, followed by cheesecake, all washed down with liberal doses of wine and other alcoholic fare. The parents of the groom certainly know how to put on a shindig--the private room on the 3rd floor was an excellent location, and the mood was good (even the bride and groom didn't seem too worried about the fate awaiting them the next day). (Sorry for the quality of these pictures--they're captures from the video camera, and the room wasn't very well lit. The lights, that is; the people in it were definitely lit, especially by the end of the evening.)

Gary prepares to make a toast.
The bride and groom blush at all the kind words.
Kenneth hangs in well after a couple of hours of being seated next to the Mother of the Bride.

Paul contemplates his glass of wine before launching into Monty Python's Dead Cat routine.
Emily and Pauline look the other way while Jamie pokes his eyes out in protest over being kept from the craps tables for so long.
Gary prepares to drink champagne out of Shirley's shoe, but is foiled by its pesky open-toe design.
