The Brew Pub
Because so many people were making such a long trip to come to this shindig, we in the bridal party were greedy and wanted to have as many opportunities to see our friends as possible given the short time frame. So the Mother of the Bride organized a "Meet and Greet" Happy Hour the evening before the wedding--three hours of munchies, free booze, and glittering conversattion. It was held at the Brew Pub at the Monte Carlo Hotel, on the second floor in a really cool catwalk-type private area. The guests hung out for a while before drifting off to various events (dinner, "O", Sigfried and Roy, Blue Man Group, the rehearsal dinner). And it succeeded in what we wanted, which was to be able to see our friends for more than just a few fleeting moments during the reception!
