These days I keep my bookmarks in Yahoo (I've gotten very addicted to the Yahoo Companion that runs along the top of your browser, since that means I can have the same bookmarks at home and work without having to constantly re-synchronize them). So I'll just list a few sites here more for your edification about what kind of surfer I am....

Weather Underground
Mock me if you must, but I *always* know whether or not to carry an umbrella! And once it's hurricane season or snow season, I spend a LOT of time roaming here for storm info!

Google
A cleaner implementation of Alta Vista, which used to be a great search engine. Google also allows you to see the cached versions of the pages it indexes, so in case the page has changed you can still see what it looked like before.

Yahoo's Tennis Page
A surprisingly handy page that posts updated results and headlines all on the same page.

BBC News
Sometimes it's just kind of refreshing to see news the BBC way. You know, with facts.

TV Tattle
A daily indexing of TV-related press from all around the Net.

Media News (formerly MediaGossip.com)
It's kind of scary when from time to time gossip about your own co-workers pops up on a page like this....

Netslaves
A site chock full of techie angst, which I read to remind myself that my current situation ain't as bad as I sometimes think....

Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School
The home page of my alma mater. Amazing to see which teachers are still there (and that one of my classmates is now a teacher there himself. Yikes!).

ZDNet
The gateway to all things techie. Although sometimes it's a toss-up between the folks at Ziff-Davis and the C-Net site.
