Nationals Park

In Dec. 2004, DC and MLB agreed to a package to build a 41,888-seat stadium, allowing the former Expos to move to DC
Land acquisition and other costs eventually drove the price tag to $693 million
Opened officially on March 30, 2008, when the Nationals beat the Atlanta Braves 3-2
Named site of the 2018 MLB All-Star Game on April 6, 2015.

When fans make their first visits to Nationals Park, they may be surprised by the views of the surrounding areas they find. There are two viewing platforms, at South Capitol south of N and at Potomac Avenue at First Street, plus a number of other spots where one can peek out. (There's some pretty good views from inside the bowl, too.)
