On Wednesday March 21, the AWC is holding an Anacostia Riverwalk Trail and Parks Public Meeting; to quote from the announcement, "The Anacostia Riverwalk is a continuous 20 mile trail system that will link public parks, plazas, and neighborhoods to the Anacostia River. A major section of the trail is due to be completed this year. Come learn about the Riverwalk and the many new parks to be built along the Anacostia Waterfront." There's an open house at 6 pm, with the presentation and discussion from 6:30-8 pm; it's at the Ellen Wilson Center at 750 6th Street SE (just north of the freeway).
